An average person in Estonia spends several hours a day watching the television. This is the situation reversed, the people portrayed here are posing for their television sets. It is not a critique of mass media and its influence (or of
the viewing habits of the people portrayed), it is a fictional document of what the TV sees.
There have been many other great TV related photo series (Paul Graham, Oliver Culmann, Simone Lueck), I’ve
tried to add a bit of playfulness to the subject and to avoid crude social generalisations. I am hoping to expand this series outside Estonia as well.

Every week the guys at Dead Porcupine Mag choose a photographic work among their publications to be featured on Dude Magazine.
Dead Porcupine Mag, founded and curated by Raffaele Capasso and Francesco Claudio Cipolletta is a free online blog/magazine which aims to showcase talented photographers from around the world together with reporting hot topics and articles about contemporary photography. We strongly believe photography is about sharing ideas, emotions and experiences: that’s why we encourage fellow photographers and artists to contribute with their works.
