Siamo sicuri che i giochi di parole facciano veramente ridere? Io ci penso ogni giorno da alcuni anni e non ne sono più così sicuro, anche se spesso ne faccio uso e ne rido. Sicuramente il modo migliore per cavarne fuori una risata di qualità è quello di trattarli molto seriamente, quindi metterli alla base di un lavoro che richieda impegno e cura dei dettagli e tempo. L’illustratore Timothy Taranto si è speso esattamente in questo, ha fatto dei giochi di parole stupidi sui nomi di alcuni scrittori e poi ha dato vita a dei ritratti di fattura egregia che gli hanno preso tempo e denaro e impegno e fatica. Questo per dare vita a giochi di parole stupidi, non è nobile?
